BACKORDERS

If an item is listed as 'Backorder', it means that it is still available for order, but there will be additional waiting time.

If you wish to purchase an item that is on backorder, simply make payment through your desired mode. Waiting time will be stated in the item's description,

and is generally between 10-15days before we ship the backorder item from the date payment is made.

By default, if your order consists of both instock item/s and backorder item/s, your parcel will be shipped as whole when backorder item/s has arrived.

Should you require separate shipments, please drop us a mail and we will advise you of the additional shipping charges.





DOMESTIC ORDERS (SINGAPORE)

PAYMENT DETAILS

Via Bank Transfer
If you would like to make payment via bank transfer to our DBS account, please email your confirmed orders (stating the product name, colour and size choices, if any) to instigate@thequietriot.sg, thereafter which an invoice will be emailed to you within 24 hours. Upon the time of delivery of invoice, payment is required to be made within a timeframe of 24hours. During this period, your specified items will be reserved for you. We regret to inform that should the abovemention not be fulfilled, you will be blacklisted and the items will be released for sale again.

Please note that The Quiet Riot will only request for bank transfers to be made to DBS Savings Plus 005-9-092306.



Via Paypal/Mastercard/Visa/Amex
Alternatively, you can make use of our shopping cart for your purchases and it supports payments via Paypal, Mastercard, Visa and Amex.

You will be asked to input your mailing address after you have checked out and selected your mode of payment. If you use an existing paypal email address to make payment, the shipping address you provided to paypal will be used. Be sure to update your paypal shipping address.

DOMESTIC SHIPPING (SINGAPORE)

Normal Mail

We are offering a flat fee shipping of $1.95 for all orders! This flat fee is applicable per package.

In the case of extra bulky items such as large bags and heavy shoes, an additional $1.95 will be charged for every bulky item. They have to be shipped as separate packages due to Singpost's parcel size limitations.

It should be noted that The Quiet Riot will carry out its due diligence of mailing out the parcels on time, and will not be held responsible for any loss of items.




Registered Mail

This service is an additional $2.50 per parcel, and it ensures receipt of parcel, as it offers tracking capability and signature confirmation upon delivery.

Once your parcel has been shipped, we will return you a mail indicating your parcel's tracking number and you can track it here

For customers who are checking out via our shopping cart system, please add the 'Registered Mail' product to your cart, and choose 'Singapore' as your shipping country during check out.

Singpost has a maximum weight tolerance of 2kg per parcel and generally has a delivery time of 2-4 working days.

The Quiet Riot does not provide the option of meet-ups or self-collections.

You can select your mode of payment upon checking out of your shopping cart and you will be directed to the next page to fill in your credit/debit card details and mailing address. For customer using their paypal account for payment, do make sure the shipping address in your paypal is up-to-date.

If you do find the price of our items very affordable, it's because we keep our shipping costs separate from the items cost for the following reasons

1) so both our international and local customers pay for only what is required

If you are not sure about the shipping costs, simply add your desired items to cart, choose your country, and click on 'Update Total'. It will reflect the shipping costs.

All international shipping will be handled by Singpost and the stipulated time frame for delivery is 6-14 working days, depending on destination. All shipping costs includes tracking capabilities and your parcel is trackable here

Should you require expedited shipping, please contact us and we will advise you on the additional charges.

Any form of customs fees or taxes chargeable in your home country in relation to your parcel is within your liability.

All sales are final. The Quiet Riot is unable to entertain requests for cancellations or any form of changes to the order once payment has been made.

CURRENCY CONVERSION



All Prices stated on The Quiet Riot are in Singapore dollars (SGD) and charged in SGD. The issuing bank of your credit card or paypal determines the exact and final exchange rate that you will be charged.

CUSTOMER SECURITY

The Quiet Riot uses PayPal for payments, and PayPal automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to ours using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available).





EXCHANGE & REFUND



The Quiet Riot team takes every reasonable effort to ensure every item is thoroughly checked and rendered free of defects before shipping. (we wouldn't want to risk facing a riot from our dearest customers, would we? ;) Proper packaging will also be in place to minimise any possible damage during the shipping process. For jewellery, boxes are part of the packaging.

We also pride ourselves in providing product pictures and detailed descriptions that represent each and every product's truest details.

Due to the abovementioned, The Quiet Riot generally does not entertain any form of refunds or exchanges, unless an incorrect order was received, a product was grossly misrepresented or if you received a broken item. In the event of that, please email us at instigate@thequietriot.sg and we will advise you on further action.

If your received item does not fit as you would like and wish to have your item exchanged for a different size, please kindly email us for further details. Postage incurred for an exchange (both to and fro) will have to be borne by the customer and this applies both local and international shoppers. Items returned to us has be in their original condition with no signs of usage.

In the event the item that was originally purchased is out of stock, The Quiet Riot will credit the amount back to your original mode of payment.

We shall not be held liable, hence provide refunds, for items that are lost during the mailing process.
Registered mail (shipping with tracking capability) is provided for all international order.
For domestic orders (Singapore), we strongly encourage opting for registered mail.


If for some reason your registered parcel was allegedly 'attempted delivery', as shown on the tracking status update, and no reasonable and timely effort was made by the recipient to check with their local post or The Quiet Riot for an update on their parcel status, and after some time the parcel is shipped back to The Quiet Riot, the recipient will have to bear the cost of redelivery. This applies to both local and international customers.

The Quiet Riot also does not entertain cancellation of orders once payment has been made.
